Book List | 2025

To design the future responsibly at scale and to be a great human means I constantly expand my own horizon on various social, technological, scientific topics to feed my curiosity, stay informed, and sharpen my thinking.

  1. What's on the list

The list is meant to be a quantitative record of books I’ve finished in each year, and it keeps me accountable to share what I’m learning. Sometimes I don’t finish a book, and it doesn’t make the list. Other times, I finish a book just to see if there’s anything redeeming in it (sometimes… there isn’t).

  2. Top Picks:

Each year, I pick 3-6 books that really resonate with me and add them in a “Recommended List”. The list grows as the year progresses.

  3. Where I find books:

Local library staff picks, bookstores, friends’ recommendations, book clubs, random social media lists (which I screenshot for reference), occasionally what people recommend on LinkedIn as well.

  4. Support Local:

This year I'm linking to Bookshop.org to support independent bookstores and local libraries and build more sustainable, connected communities. Don’t forget to check your library’s programming for free audiobooks – special gratitude to SFPL, where folks can sign up for a library card for free.

Trying my hand at embedding a Notion page here for those who are more familiar with that platform. Will come back to formatting.

This is almost the same content built in Claude (I’ve tried Figma Make, Lovable, etc) but this version works out the best for an embedded content:
